Keir Doe MRICS, MRTPI
The team is led by Keir Doe who is a Chartered Surveyor & Chartered Town Planner who launched the consultancy Keir + Co. eight years ago. Keir + Co specialises in renewable energy, land compensation, compulsory purchase and planning work. Having undertaken renewable energy work for both landowners and developers, Keir spotted a gap in the market and a pressing requirement for an online agency platform, connecting landowners, developers and investors – all of whom would benefit from this service.
Keir is based on a farm near Errol in Perthshire, that includes RAF Errol Airfield, and is a Partner in the family farm business. Over the last 10 years, he has been instrumental in creating additional diversified income streams. Keir is very aware of the requirement to seek diversified income and the challenges farmers face.
As a renewable energy consultant and farmer, Keir is very motivated to be at the forefront of the evolution and progression of the renewable energy industry.
Hamish Bottomley BEng (Hons), MSc
Hamish, who has a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Renewable Energy Engineering, has been involved in a range of renewable, infrastructure, and planning & development projects, including more recently, a 300MW Solar PV development and 500MW BESS.
Kirsty
Kirsty, who is from a farming background and previously worked for SEPA, assists with fielding enquiries, reviewing site and project information and the office admin.
Jamie
Jamie is currently studying (MEng) mechanical engineering at Heriot Watt University, works as an intern assisting in technical research as well as client marketing. In his spare time, he is interested in sailing and rugby.
Iona
Iona, our Marketing Associate, manages our social media campaigns. She recently graduated with a degree in International Business Management from Heriot-Watt University and will be pursuing an MSc in Marketing this fall. Iona is interested in traveling and photography.
Catriona Christie
Cat has been working in office management, admin and bookkeeping for over ten years and will be co ordinating the team. She also has a background in agriculture and health care.
David Carswell
David is an MSc Offshore Wind Energy student at the University of Strathclyde with a BEng in Mechanical Engineering. Previously, he was a process improvement lead at Kraft Heinz, where he developed new SOP’s and maintenance routines at Europe’s largest food manufacturing facility
