Through our pioneering multi-agency platform and database, we connect and facilitate the leasing, disposal, and acquisition of interests in renewable energy sites & projects throughout the UK.
We are a dedicated team of professionals who specialise in and work within the renewable energy sector.
We understand the challenges faced on both sides of the fence – those looking for renewable sites & projects and those looking for suitable partners.
Our main office is located in Rural Perthshire. We have collaborative partners situated throughout the UK.
The Renewables Connect Team
Keir Doe MRICS, MRTPI
The Team is led by Keir Doe, a Chartered Surveyor and Town Planner, who has in excess of 20 years of experience working in the renewable energy industry. Keir has more recently, been involved in a range of Renewable Projects, including a 900MW BESS, 40MW Wind farm, and 300MW Solar PV development.
Hamish Bottomley BEng (Hons), MSc
Hamish, who has a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Renewable Energy Engineering, has been involved in a range of renewable, infrastructure, and planning & development projects, including more recently, a 300MW Solar PV development and 500MW BESS.
Connor Collins MSc, AMEI, AMIMarEST
Connor holds an MSc in Offshore Renewable Energy, with four years of experience in planning, project management, and engineering within renewable energy and major infrastructure sectors including, 4.5GW offshore wind, 550MW onshore wind, 250MW solar and 150MW BESS. Connor has supported lenders and developers through pre-financial close, construction, and operational phases in the UK, Europe, America, and Asia.
Kirsty
Kirsty, who is from a farming background and previously worked for SEPA, assists with fielding enquiries, reviewing site & project information and the office admin.
Alex
Alex is going into fourth year studying in Business Management, Digital Media and Information Studies at the University of Glasgow. He is currently an intern and assists with coordinating the team’s marketing and advertising. In his spare time, Alex is interested in hiking and camping.
Jamie
Jamie is currently studying (MEng) mechanical engineering at Heriot Watt University, works as an intern assisting in technical research as well as client marketing. In his spare time, he is interested in sailing and rugby.
Iona
Iona, our Marketing Associate, manages our social media campaigns. She recently graduated with a degree in International Business Management from Heriot-Watt University and will be pursuing an MSc in Marketing this fall. Iona is interested in traveling and photography.
